During the coronavirus pandemic Unitas continually reviews its service delivery to ensure our customers and our staff members remain safe. We continue to follow government guidance and in line with this:
- We are currently only taking emergency and urgent repair requests.
- We will continue to carry out external maintenance to your home.
- We will continue to undertake gas and electrical safety checks to ensure you are safe in your home.
- External planned refurbishment can continue to go ahead and we will work to minimise any access to the inside of your property that is required to undertake this work. If your property forms part of a planned programme, a member of our team will be in touch with you.
- Our operatives and contractors, who need to visit you in your home for essential repairs and maintenance, are taking extra precautions during the pandemic by regularly washing their hands and using hand sanitiser. They will also wear a face covering when moving around your home.
- We are kindly asking residents to stay in a separate room while our teams carry out urgent work in your homes to minimise the risk to both parties. Please remember to remain at least two metres away and wear a face covering if necessary. Make sure you let plenty of fresh air into your home, where possible, during and just after our visit.
- Our offices remain closed to all visitors.
