2022 has been an extremely busy year for us, and along the way we’ve met a LOT of people.
We’ve met customers, councillors, local residents, corporate partners and charities (to mention but a few).
In that time, many of you have been good enough to give our team feedback and from that feedback, we created this beautiful Word Cloud.
Your feedback, positive and otherwise, means the world to us. We take all of your comments on board and they help us to shape our service.

We’ve spoken before about how much the Environment means to us, both as a business and to our individual team members, and 2022 has seen us have some incredible environmental achievements.
Over the year, we’ve committed to and introduced more electric and hybrid vehicles to our fleet, we’ve developed our very own vegetable patch and reflection garden to our Cromer Road HQ and we’ve delivered bee and insect hotels to local schools.
We’ve volunteered our services to garden building and ensured we recycle as much of our waste as possible.
We’re aiming to continue our Environmental work to make an even bigger impact in 2023!

Our work with Stoke-on-Trent City Council means we care for over 600 public buildings in Stoke-on-Trent.
These include the leisure centres, Fenton Manor and Dimensions Wallace Centre and New Horizons, the City’s Indoor Markets, Hanley, Longton, Stoke and Tunstall and Stoke-on-Trent libraries as well as a number of outdoor spaces.
And that’s just the start!
As well as day to day maintenance, upkeep of systems such as emergency lighting and emergency repairs, we also do planned repairs to the buildings.
Earlier this year, we attended Stoke Indoor Market at 6.00am when the Market Officer reported vandalism and an attempted break-in. Windows and doors were made safe and repairs undertaken to ensure the Market could open safely for Traders and the public.

Our Repairs Portal gives our customers a hassle-free way to report issues and to be able to check on the progress of them.
This year, we’ve received 2845 repairs requests through our portal.
These include roof leaks, broken windows, blocked sinks, broken radiators, door replacements, broken boilers and much more.

Our chosen charity for 2022 has been Cancer Research UK. We’re supporting Cancer Research UK until 31 March 2023.
Throughout the year, we’ve held a number of events and activities to raise funds.
We’ve run the Potters ‘Arf, climbed Mt Snowden, taken part in online quizzes and donned Christmas Jumpers, in aid of an extremely worthwhile cause and we’re delighted to be able to say that so far this year, we’ve raised a staggering £8,100 for them.
We could not be prouder of our amazing team who’ve risen to every challenge we’ve asked them to, and done it in amazing style and good humour every single time!
